Trackrod Historic Cup 2026
The Trackrod Historic Cup is the historic element of Rally Yorkshire, a forest gravel rally based in Filey, North Yorkshire. The 2026 running is on 25 and 26 September, opening with Friday-night stages in Dalby Forest and finishing on Filey beach on Saturday afternoon. It counts towards the British Historic Rally Championship and the HRCR Northern Historic Gravel Rally Championship, and runs to about 55 miles.

The historic field ran the six-stage route from the Friday-night Dalby stage to Saturday's Staindale finale, and the Clerk of the Course signed the results final at 20:00: Matthew Stroud and Sam Spencer won the historic classification in a Ford Escort Mk2 from David Henderson and Jack Bowen, with Damien Tourish third and 62 crews classified of the 79 entered. The organiser confirmed the weekend is good to go: the Historic Cup runs over 55 stage miles with a ceremonial start and finish on the seafront at Filey, opening with a 12-mile Dalby stage in the dark on Friday evening. The title race is described as a three-way battle between Ben Smith, Damien Tourish and Martin McCormack. The organiser notes modern cars on the longer Historic Cup route, among them the Opel Corsa Rally4 of Catterick's Luke Constantine, who is using the rally as preparation for his Junior British Rally Championship bid, and the ceremonial start and finish on the Filey seafront are free to spectators.
