Terms of Use
Last updated: 4 September 2026
These terms govern your use of rallywire.co.uk (the "site"), published by Rally Wire ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site, you agree to them. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
What this site is
Rally Wire is an independent news site covering UK and international rallying, alongside a free email newsletter. We are not affiliated with, and don't speak on behalf of, any championship, event, team, or organiser.
Using our content
The articles, images, and other content on this site are our own original work (or licensed to us) and are protected by copyright. You're welcome to:
- read the site for your own personal, non-commercial use;
- link to any page on the site;
- quote short passages with clear attribution and a link back to the original article.
Please don't republish whole articles, scrape or systematically copy the site, or use our content commercially without asking first — get in touch via our contact form.
Submitting news to us
If you submit a press release, event announcement, results, entry list, photos, or a seat/co-driver vacancy through our submissions form, you confirm that you have the right to share that material and that it's accurate to the best of your knowledge. By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, edit, and publish it on the site and in the newsletter. Submitting material doesn't guarantee it will be published, and we may edit anything we publish for length, clarity, or house style.
Accuracy and no warranty
We work hard to get the facts right and to correct mistakes quickly — if you spot an error, tell us via the submissions form and we'll look into it. That said, the site is provided "as is", without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing on this site is professional, financial, or betting advice.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Rally Wire is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.
Other sites and services
Links to external sites are provided for convenience; we don't control and aren't responsible for their content. Our newsletter sign-up is provided by beehiiv, Inc. and our submissions form by Google Forms — using either also puts you under that provider's own terms.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site develops. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms; material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of the page.
